Leaching chemicals, difficult to take care of, short lifetimes, impossible to clean, stinky, usually too soft. What's to like about jelly? It's cheap, but a waste of money.

Oh boy do I loathe me some jelly toys. I own a handful of them, and they were purchase before I knew any better. They don't last long so you're really not saving in money in the long run. They are impossible to sterilize, leech chemicals, are so porous that they require tons of lube (another hidden expense), and can't be stored properly with quality toys (I had a $5 jelly rubber plug stored next to a $100 Tantus toy, and the jelly toy destroyed the silicone). There are a metric ton of reasons to despise jelly toys, IMO.

I don't mind jelly. I have started a few discussions asking if many people experience the burning and as far as I can tell it isn't that common. I think jelly is pretty right as long as you don't share your toys and view jelly as ultimately being disposable.

I enjoy my beads that are jelly but i also haven't tried any other kind. Maybe its time i get some new and try something other than jelly.

I had and used a jelly dong for close to ten years. Didn't both me, I liked it and it lasted. I only got rid of it because my life situation forced me to throw it out along with many other toys.

Jelly would only be suitable if it was a one time use situation, in which case it's still a bad idea, because it's going to spend a very long time in a landfill giving cancer to rats.

Jelly is just overall a terrible material for any kind of sex toy, let alone an anal toy. I've had jelly toys deteriorate and melt and just become nasty messes. I refuse to use jelly toys anymore and I caution people against them whenever possible.
