I'd recommend any of the Tantus Ripples (small or large). They start at a really manageable size and then allow you to work up to larger sizes.

Yikes for anal? Do you mean a beginner with glass or an anal play beginner all together? I do not do anal anything, but I must say, it cannot possibly be a good idea to try glass for your first anal experience. Probably not such large sizes for a first time either.

However, I don't much care for either of the glass toys on your list. I love my rotator, but I don't know if that's something you want in your a**. Lol. Not as a beginner anyway. I guess I'd have to know what you mean by beginner. Beginner anal or beginner to glass? I think I'd have better suggestions if I knew. I'd say something with no texture if you're a beginner, but I can't, off the top of my head even think of a glass toy right now that doesn't have texture...

I wouldn't start any anal play with glass, I would use something a little more gentle

I'd start with either some cheaper silicone, or even medium sized silicone plugs like the Mood Naughty or even Fun Factory's Bootie.

I started with glass, and I wish I didn't!!!

If you really, *really* want glass (but I think it's a very bad idea), I'd actually suggest The Royal Ripple

I would start with a softer material first. silicone for sure since it can be totally sanitized. the small silk was a great choice for us. Even though we have evoloved into larger toys, we still use the small silk to warm up with .

You probably want to start off small and soft and definitely with a safe toy. Silicone is best.
