Nexus I-Stim - Worth the price?

JustYourAverageGuy JustYourAverageGuy
I have been eyeing this toy for some time now, but am reluctant to spend $200 on it.

My concern isn't so much the price, it is if the electric stimulation is worth the price tag and how safe it is. I am a bit afraid that I will shock myself or something.

I am looking to get comments from anyone who has used this toy in any way, using the E-Stim pads, any attachments, such as the Nexus prostate toys, or any other attachments, used externally, vaginally or anally......

Does anyone have any experiences to share, positive or negative?

honestly, there are comparable products which are cheaper if you look for them. I probably would not buy it unless I was using some sort of coupon.

There are precautions to take. I couldn't tell you them all as I haven't played with electricity but I'd like to. You might check out of some of these links:

I also believe there is some reading material recommendation in the review on the I-stim

Estim is fun The PES and folsom products Adriana posted links to are supposedly the top drawer stuff in estim land. PES and folsom are certainly worth their price (although it ain't cheap!)

The nexus Istim? Expensive for what it is, I believe, but I am unsure. You can get a TENS unit from a drug store for a hundred bucks - cheaper if you hunt around on line. And I'm thinking the nexus istim is just a TENS unit.

PES and folsom products pulse a bit 'deeper' than TENS units. Perhaps the nexus does too? Still, I am personally quite hesitant about it given its price.

Wish I had a more definitive answer!

OH! And yes, it is safe. And giving yourself a shock is....kind of the idea

as a follow up - the nexus attachment for the istim can actually be purchased, on their own, from Nexus (and probably other places), but sadly not here. It runs like $35 or so, and hooks onto all of the ball bearing nexus prostate massagers.
