Suggestions Needed:

It's amazing the things you find out when you have a full day of naughty texting with your husband while at work.

I found out today that my husband has secretly been using my old vibrator while I've been out of the house. He opened up to me today and told that he enjoyed it, but that it was too small for him.

As a 'Welcome to the joys of anal' gift, I'd like to purchase him something that he would like. What is a good gift that would fill him up nicely?

Eek, is this a plastic vibrator? If so, you should use it with a condom from now on...

are you looking for something that vibrates for him? or would just a regular plug work too? or a probe? I need more info before I can recommend anything...

Yes, it's a plastic vibrator. Will he need to use a condom with it? O.o It's my old one, I no longer use it. (It got replaced by my triple ecstasy. LOL) He says he doesn't want vibration. He's not sure what he wants, he says just short and big. (He's still a little embarassed and didn't want to look at examples.)

Does it have a flared base? Tell him to be extra careful if it doesn't. If he wants short and big- try the Randy. It's silicone so you can boil it and use it as well.

Yes, definitely watch out if it doesn't have a flared base. I suggest throwing it out once you get this new thing anyway.

Umm. Well. In terms of vibrating butt plugs, the Zing is one of the only ones made of 100% silicone. link

In terms of just butt plugs, I'm not really sure what constitutes "short and big" for him... what is the diameter of the vibrator he was using? The Tristan is 1 1/2" in diameter. link Ryder is also very popular, also 1 1/2" in diameter. link

I second the rider! Also, I really like the Rombee; I know it's not the same thing as an honest-to-god buttplug, but I heart it.

As always, make sure you have a good flared base on a toy before letting somebody shove it up their bum.

And make sure you tell your guy there's nothing wrong with wanting a little bum-lovin', provided you play it safe. =)

I have heard good things about the Cunter. The rude boy is a good toy but if he is looking for more control rude boy is not the answer. The Duece 2 has received some good reviews.

what are the size specs on the vibrator he's using? Diameter at the largest point, most importantly. Length as well, but that's not as big a deal - most toys described as a plug are shorter.

My husband really likes Joe Rock if you're looking for a good silicone plug. Perfect weight, flared base, just the right size.

The one he's using does not have a flared base (Lord knows I don't want to take him to the ER for -that- xray!). I'm not sure what diameter it is...it's small. All it is, is your basic starter vibe. It came in a light bondage kit that was rather cheap, so it's nothing special.

Thank you all for the suggestions! I'll be taking a peek at them all after work.

In addition to the above, I would recommend the Jolly Jack butt plug. I like it as well, lol.

You should measure the diameter and make sure you get something similar. Many of the suggestions on this thread are for toys that are not beginner level and may be a little too much for him. Eden had a great search function that lets you search by diameter. Just place the vibe on a ruler and see how much it is across (the small way, not length!).

If I had to guess, you're looking at a 1" vibe, maybe 1.5". In 1" land, there is the little flirt, buddy, love pacifier beginner and a few others. in 1.5" land there are lots, but I definitely second the recommendation on the Ryder, it's great 1.5" plug that slides in real easy.

If you do happen to get something a tad too big, suggest fingers in the shower as warm up. His or yours, whatever his comfort level. Always with lube, of course - in a pinch, vasoline works well!

Good luck!

As usual I'm not the fastest when contributing to the discussions in my favourite forum. But it might me appropriate here as you guys might have surpassed the beginners level by now. You or him might look at the reviews I wrote about some UR3 toys (which some of the crowd considers not so "kosher" to use). Also the infaltable plug is amazing.
