Yes, I would absolutely say that this plug is very easy to insert. For partners or single play individuals who are unfamiliar with plugs, the easiest way to start out is to slowly insert a finger into the anus, and then after this is comfortable, remove the finger and slowly insert the well lubricated plug. As I mentioned in my original review, the plug isn't terribly to keep in without constant pressure, but it creates a wonderful, full feeling for newbies to anal play.
