I want a butt plug that is 1 1/2 inches wide, so I narrowed down my decision to the Liberty and Ripple.

So far I like the Ripple because of the price, but I prefer the aesthetics of the Liberty. I just want other people's opinions. Is blue Liberty worth the price? Should I settle for the better bargain?

Of those two I would pick the Liberty, the base has a better shape to it. The Ripple's (I have the Pink Ripple) base has a gradual taper to it and will slide in much easier that the abrupt shape of the Liberty. Read my review of the Pink Ripple for an idea on making the Ripple safe if you go that route.

Honestly though, the Liberty's base does not look all that safe to me either. I much prefer something that has a base the same size, if not bigger, than the main body of a plug. Something like the Sexy Spades small or Icicles No.14 might be a better choice and they are in the same price range of the Ripple.

I don't think I would use either of these because of the base, so small! But the Liberty looks a LITTLE safer...

Liberty plug! I love the shape of this plug! I haven't used any glass plugs yet. I'm very tempted to.

They're both made of pyrex, but the Liberty's shape seems to have better staying power.

Between the two, I'd probably pick the Liberty plug, just because the base looks a little less likely to accidentally slip in, but if you are willing to spend that much, I think the Moon Plug looks fantastic, not to mention quite pretty! The head shape is similar to the Violet Ripple, but the neck is skinnier and the base wider, so I wouldn't worry about losing it.

Thanks for the recommendation. I do like the look of the moon plug, so I placed it in my wishlist.

I'll have to get the moon plug another time because it's too big for me now.

The Liberty pretty much stays put, but you can play around with the Ripple more - which I always recommending playing more.

I agree, they both look like a trip to the ER! I don't understand why companies insist on making pretty products with crazy small bases to them. Larger bases can be uncomfortable depending on the size, but I would think that a person would be more likely to buy a brand that has a standard flair that one knows is not going to disappear in yeah. Meh.,
