What do you think works as the best first anal toy?

Personally, I like the Gold Laced G and the Emerald Explorer. I have some glass plugs that are really nice, but are bigger than standard beginner fare, and I recently bought the Fun Factory Felix, although I haven't tried it yet.

I recommend either silicone or glass, since they can both be sterilized. Glass is firm and unforgiving, but it's also slick and easy to use. Good luck, and have fun!

First up use a finger or two. Put a glove on - makes things smoother - and make sure your nails are trimmed and don't have any sharp edges.

Using your fingers decide if you prefer thrusting play (dildos/probes) or stationary/wiggle play (plugs), or if you think you'd like a vibe. Also figure out about what size you think you want.

From there get something soft and bodysafe (generally silicone).

If you consider lube a toy that is the best first anal toy, and get it before you start messing with fingers.

I have the Moonshine plug, but it doesn't really do much for me. Since I have enjoyed anal in the past I think it just might not be my style.

I don't have it but many people tout the Bootie as a great first anal toy.

If you have used a lubed finger(s), I would suggest the Ryder butt plug. I still use it and it is very useful as a warm up for a larger plugs or anal sex.
