Depends on the toy material. I prefer silicone because it's very slippery and lasts quite a long time. I don't care for the warming or cooling lubes, they tend to irritate me.

JO H2O for most of our bedroom play. It works well for anal also. They make a anal version that is slightly thicker then the regular waterbased lube.

Pure orgainic extra virgin coconut oil.
Natural antioxidant and antifungal.
Cheaper than botique lubes and no chemicals.

I use water based. Not a fan of relaxing or numbing lube. Don't want to mask the pain. If it hurts then you are doing something wrong.

Maximus for anal is the best I've experienced so far and wouldn't use it for anything else.

For silicone toys, I use a thick water-based lube (Sliquid Sassy). For glass or steel toys, I use a silicone-based lube (Pjur).

From what I understand, lube that's specifically for anal isn't really worth it, or that much better than just a simple basic water-based lube.

For everything, my partner and I just just a basic and cheap water-based lube. It works great, even if you have to reapply.
