I want to get a new butt plug, but I can only get one. Between these two, which one would you recommend? FYI: I'm looking for something that will stay put during intercourse, and also be large/filling enough to adequately prepare me for anal sex. I like that the N'Joy is steel, which is good for temp play and has a nice weight to it, but the Jolly Roger has that nice texture.. Decisions, decisions!

I have the small and medium Njoy plugs - although they are very comfortable to wear - it just takes a small amount of lube to get them inside - I don't see them as good preparation for anal sex. The necks are so small as to be almost non existent.
I don't know about the other toy you suggested - but that wouldn't be my first choice. As a recent beginner to anal play I'd suggest you look for the following:
A tapered front-end - the Jolly Jack is too abrupt
Something that has a max of 1" 'peak' to start with - then I moved up to 1.5"
Then the taper should be about 50% of the peak diameter
I also like one with vibes - but it isn't a must
If you like silicone
The Pleasure Plug 2link and B Bomb link look like a good beginner plugs.
I like glass and there are plenty of those out there - happy hunting.

Njoy makes other versionsof plugs than those too
and i found that my favorite position for anal was me on top. That way i could control the penetration, speed, all of that. worked great!
Sadly we can't do it much since after the birth of our 2nd daughter i got a hemorrhoid

If you want a plug that's good to leave in and stimulating then go with the nJoy. The downside is that it might not be as good for anal warmup - with the Jolly Jack you can do some thrusting and leave the anus opened up to the "body" width for a while.
For warmup there's always fingers, though.
