Actually I recommend the Ryder, which is of premium high quality silicone. But from the three options you posted above, I would choose glass. I suppose you are trying to pick one from them?
Seeing as they're all equally rigid, I would choose glass because of it's incredible smoothness and ability to hold temperatures - this also makes metal a very close second choice.
Note that glass gives you a very similar sensation to metal for less money. Between glass/metal and wood is mostly a question of temperature - glass starts off cold if you don't warm it but can be used for temperature play, whereas wood is warmer but you can't do much with.
If you're into electroplay, metal plugs could be connected whereas the other two don't conduct.
Personally I'd say start with glass, then if you like it you can try out a metal plug later.

My only concern with wood is cleaning it. Even with the totally impregnated wood materials from Don Wands the plastic still can't stand up to heavy duty sanitizing. Even though I don't do it regularly, it's nice to know that you can.
BTW the D.W. Treeze products should be able to be sanitized occasionally with 10% bleach, but after a while it could start to affect the urethane plastic (depending on what manufacturer's urethane they use).
I can now say (after trying out the Stilo) that there is a difference between metal and glass. Good metal plugs do hold temperature better and they're also a little slicker/smoother than most glass. Glass is close on all counts but holding heat/cold, and still much cheaper.
There should have been an option for silicone, because i have found it to be the best material by far. I would recommend the tantus ryder. But if you are only looking at the materials in your poll, I would go with glass.
