If it's an actual animal live cast I wouldn't want it; it'd be the same uncanny valley I get from the ultra realistic dildos, but without any of the inherent attraction. Plus I'm not sure that's legal where I live...
As for sculpted or mold-made toys that resemble non-human phalli (apparently "phalluses" is incorrect...) my primary issues are size and texture; those that I have seen are beyond my size limits and have too much texture. I sort of ignore any connotations such items have, and take it as it is.

I don't think that they're disgusting as long as they're not modeled on real animals who had to suffer through it or anything. I mean, it's a huge turn off for me, but if you're just using the toy and not hooking up with animals, I don't see it as a huge deal. I mean, fantasizing about the animals is pretty weird to me too, but harmless.
