The balls on that one just look awkward to me, but I can see how it would be nice for a harness since they can sometimes get in the way of various straps if the base is one of those "half a balls" thingies.

So I think it really depends on how you want to use it and aesthetic preference.

OMG, I have both of those and love them both. Please don't make me choose! They both feel about the same, the only difference is that the balls do take a bit of the insertable length off the Goodfella, just like you said. That's the only draw back. I like vigorous thrusting, so sometimes the Goodfella will pop out during use, but it goes right back in. And the balls feel fantastic!

I just can't choose, those are both 2 of my favorite toys!

Having extra length on a harness compatible cock is good, but it doesn't have to be insertable length. In most cases the length just helps the cock extend far enough from your body to reach.

I love balls on dildos and the balls on Goodfella are outstanding. We love the realistic look and feel and that they can be fully enjoyed, even when it's worn in a harness. The best part is feeling them bounce against me when my wife's pegging me.

BUT - Goodfella's just too short to be good for pegging (for us). We prefer the length of the Mustang. We actually use Vixskin Johnny more, because it's longer and girthier, just the right size for us most of the time. When I'm in the mood for something a little smaller, Mustang is great.

What we'd really like is for Vixen to make a Vixskin dildo with 360° balls that sit outside the harness like Goodfella's, but with about the same insertable length and girth as Johnny. For us, that would be the end-all.
