Have you ever bought a toy only to realize its HUGE?

I'm very aware of my limits and think very hard before buying a toy that's larger than 1.5", especially if it's made of a firm material.

My first vibe ended up being larger than anticipated. I read the dimensions in the catalog, but I guess I underestimated the diameter. I was able to use it, but I wasn't very comfortable at times.

I have. Cole Ryder sensafirm dildo. I believe it's 2.25 inches of girth.
Which is why I LOVE the "real size" feature on the EF site. I just wish ALL the toys were "measured" on it.

Hubby just reminded me of a toy I bought from a catalog...years ago. Looked really long and slender. Indeed, it was LONG...like a YARD long, and slender? Well, maybe for a baseball bat! Sure, some woman may actually use such toys, but for me, it was like a novelty/gag toy. About the size of a LARGE anaconda snake. Hubby rubbed the head of it on my clit for about a minute, then threatened my little butt with it as a joke. It then sat at the bottom of our toy drawer, taking up space for about two years, till the Jelly it was made of started melting, giving me the excuse I needed to toss out that expensive, and useless "toy". (The description in the old catalog did NOT give measurements, by the way...just a photo that made it look a half inch around, not FIVE INCHES around!!!! How NICE it is to have EF and the INTERNET now.

I almost always underestimate size. I got tired of being so limited, so I bought a dilator, to try to get my vagina to accommodate a wider range of toys.

I guess that's good since some really good dildos are bigger, just be careful.

I did a review for a toy that looked big on my computer, and even bigger when I got it. It's still the biggest thing I have.

We make a point to check the dimensions and compare this gives us a good idea of what might be too much

A few times and on both ends of the spectrum. A few times I got ones that were too big and once much smaller than I realized.

I usually check the view actual size thing on every single purchase, so it's been a very long time since I visualized anything wrong, and I've never bought anything I couldn't use, fortunately.

I do have one toy that feels bigger than others of its size, and in the opposite way one would expect. I actually haven't used it in a good long time as a result. It's a soft silicone toy that measures no bigger than three other toys in my collection -- one of which is metal. But for some reason, it's the softest toy that feels uncomfortably big to use. It doesn't have texture, either, and I have no idea why my body objects to it.
