Would you ever consider commissioning an artist to custom make a dildo to your specs? Or would you be worried about the quality?

It most likely wouldn't involve moving parts, but I know of artists who work in glass, ceramic, stone, wood and silicone that do custom work. I recently custom ordered a ceramic (hollow) dildo to my specs and I'm nervous, but excited. However, I'm not sure if others have had similar experiences.

I would love to have a custom dildo made. I found a website once that did custom glass dildos, but I haven't been able to find it again I would want to make mine out of glass or softer silicone or maybe one of each

If you have an account (or even if you don't), check out Etsy. It's a marketplace for handmade, and vintage, goods. I have seen glass, ceramic, silicone, wood and even clay sex toys on there, as well as handmade leather gear.

I spend SOOO much money on Etsy lol

I recently have been in contact with an artist who is making me three pieces, they are not my design but he also doesn't usually make them for customers so I've been very lucky to get these from him. I'll be among only about 3 people to have his work.

Oh, there are three of them one is something he calls "The Snake" It's very alien like with a short thin shaft and a very flared mushroomed soft of tip and it also has these bumps on it, soft of like spines on a lizard.

The second is a Tentacle! That's the one that I found and searched for, I'm a nutcase for tentacles

The third is one that he hasn't named yet but it's a very Anthro Dragon sort of style. Lots of ridges mmmm

They are incredible pieces and I can not wait to receive them!

I've also been looking at this site, it looks like a lot of fun and I've designed a couple just playing. It quite expensive but I'd love to try it out! Made to Pleasure

I have had a custom kegel exerciser made out of glass and I absolutely love it. I would definitely have stuff custom-made. It's fantastic.

There is a glass-blower in town who offers classes in glass-blowing. I should ask him if he ever considered helping people make their own glass dildos. I mean, what fun it would be for someone to create his/her own sex toy, with all the bumps and grooves where he/she wants *and* have it be a work of art of which you can be proud.

I've had wooden and glass toys custom made from Etsy sellers. No problems, and much cheaper than factory made toys!
