I like both, the harder I prefer to use by myself though.

Vaginally, it's uncomfortable to me, maybe because one of the toys I have is rather large, AND hard plastic, which almost hurts to use even though I can comfortably use larger soft toys. However I noticed that a LOT of people on EF love hard insertable toys, why? Maybe someone can change my opinion of them, please recommend good products if you know any
