My partner and I haven't done much more with g-spotting than good ol' fingers and have both had our eye on the Pure Wand for a while. Neither of us having used a g-spot toy before, is it wise to go big or stay home off the bat, or is there another universally loved g-spot dildo more beginner friendly?

I highly recommend the Pure Wand also. It'll probably be the only wand you'll ever need, and can't keep your hands off of. Just remember to start slow and gentle, and learn what strokes are the most comfortable and enjoyable for your anatomy, since it is a very hard and heavy toy.

Have you ever used a steel or glass toy? If not I would go for something made of silicone but it's all up to you. I would just want something not as hard for my first.

No, the hardest toy I've ever used has been really firm silicone, just a standard dildo for thrusting.

If you're pretty sure you'd like a hard G-spot toy and you know you like G-spot stimulation by pressure then go ahead, the Pure Wand is great. Otherwise it is expensive, and you might want to try things out with a less expensive stiff stimulator.
