I'm thinking I want to buy a realistic dildo for the first time but I'm not really sure what kind to get. I'm leaning on getting a silicone one instead of the rubber ones because I've heard better things about them. I'm also a person that likes small to medium toys so some of the porn star ones look wayyy too long or thick and also I don't have the space to put something over 10 inches. Thanks for any suggestions you can give me =)

I would highly suggest looking into vixskin! Johnny is my favorite but if that one is too large goodfella or mustang are both great options. I'd go with vixen or tantus if looking for a silicone dildo. Vixskin dildos changed my life!

So why do you think vixskin is better? The texture, realistic feel, the overall quality, something else?

I have 3 of them and love them. Quality is amazing and they feel and look so real

I 3rd to the Vixskin for the same reasons Camoprincess listed.
Not that I do not think you wouldn't enjoy silicone, but if you want realistic down to the bones and not just the look, it is a good material to go with.

Maybe Spur would suit you best?

I agree with all prior recommendations for Vixskin, I have the Mustang and love it! Can't say anymore about it than what others already have!

Vixskin's great, but it's a LOT more expensive than the ones you're looking at. It definitely feels more realistic than those; I'd recommend Vixskin Johnny (7" insertable length X 1 3/4" diameter) or Mustang (6 1/2" X 1 1/2") — IF you're willing to spend over $100.

If the realistic feel isn't so important, either of the ones you linked would be a pretty good call.

Another option in-between Vixskin and regular silicone would be O2, probably either Adam or Revolution, for $60 or $70, respectively (on sale now). Some people like O2 better, anyway.

All of the above and more. It's hard to put into words but it feels soooo amazing! So worth the investment! I wouldn't buy anything else and I actually have 8 now!

I like the squishyness of the vixskin material, so I'd suggest the spur or mustang. The Tantus O2 material is firmer.

I agree - the Spur is probably too small. Tex or Mustang would be a good choice. We prefer the larger ones like Johnny and Maverick - but you need to go with dimensions you are comfortable with. One thing is that Vixskin is so soft that we find we can a larger size without feeling overwhelmed.

Thanks for that link, it really looks like something I'd really enjoy plus it's a lot smaller than the others I've seen =)
