Anything above 1.25" in diameter is intimidating to me - the biggest one I own is 1.5", and it doesn't get used too often (though I have been gaining confidence ). Anal toys intimidate me a bit, too, but curiosity is starting to get the better of me.

Nope. I've been a size queen for as long as I can remember. Although I prefer smaller anal toys, larger ones don't intimidate me. I don't feel it's a contest to see who can "take" the largest toy. It's about what works for YOU! If that's a 3 inch in circumference toy, then that's fine. It it's a 6 inch circ toy, that's fine too.
The Great American Challenge is really more of a novelty item, the only people I've ever heard of who really use them are those people who do videos on "Extreme Insertion." These people also use things like 2 liter bottles. A rare thing and not something something I am interested in doing.

See, I'm always impressed instead of intimidated. I guess the result of that is, since coming to Eden, I've moved up vaginally from nothing larger than an average cock, to the Eleven and the Hottie Xtra. And I'm pretty sure that the Tantus Cowboy wasn't designed for female parts in the first place... but I can see it used anally (since some can take arms up to the elbow) for certain people.

yeah I get intimidated sometimes. I even own a toy (Randy Silicone) that intimidates me because I haven't been able to take it yet. I kind of like the intimidation factor, anytime my partner grabs it I get this rush of scared and excited feelings that I don't get with my other toys.
