How Do You Store Your Vixskin?

Contributor: Owl Identified Owl Identified
Many of you know that of late I've been on a quest to perfect my toy organizational skills and get my storage down to a honed craft. Most of my things have found their way into Devine boxes and bags, toy pouches and the like, but my Vixskin toys remain a HUGE space-consuming issue.

I understand that they are ideally meant to be store upright in their original containers so that they do not lose their shape. I don't keep mine upright but I do keep them in the original plastic boxes which are even more annoying that the plastic Vixen canisters.

So what do you all think. How do you store your Vixskin? Would it be sacrilege to put mine in pouches? Am I looking for trouble here?

I store mine in its original packaging; I can't risk it becoming misshapen.

I keep mine standing upright in a box under my bed. But now I have Outlaw, who is too tall for that strategy. I think I'll keep him in the same box but on his side. For now he's standing tall on the bathroom counter.

I wish the original packaging were not see through. I store it in the package because it picks up so much lint and hair, I imagine this would be the case in a soft bag. But I would love an alternative.

I have a bedside box in which I keep all my toys upright. I haven't noticed any issues so far. It's great b/c they're all close at hand, and dust-free.

I have a large glass display cabinet that shows off all my delicious toys - including my one and only VixSkin.

I keep my VixSkin toys in their original tubes until the tubes break, then to Ziplock bags. The tubes can take-up too much room.

I like the orig. packaging. It's already there, so might as well use it.

I really want the Vixskin Randy. I normally store toys in their pouch or in a ziplock. Hopefully Randy has storage.

I store my beloved maverick in the container he came in But I am thinking about trying to find or make a container similar but not clear . That way when i have a "guest "over I don't scare the poor man away .

I keep in in the tube (one cover off so it doesn't start to smell funny), but I don't worry too much about keeping it vertical - horizontal seems to work OK. There are only a couple of marks on the dildo, and those came from fingernails.

Try going to a hardware store and getting some PVC or ABS pipe. You can get a few caps as well to close it up.

I had the same concern as you. I settled for covering the clear tube with paper so no one would know what was inside.

I store my VixSkin upright. It has gotten a few fingernail marks on it. I'm not sure what sideways storage would do, but upright storage is actually more convenient for me since that's how I store all my toys.

I keep mine in the original cases, or I keep them underneath my sink in my bathroom, standing straight up. I honestly dislike them taking up so much space too, so I know how you feel.

My Spur stays upright in the original tube. It's become my favorite dildo, so I don't want it damaged!

Storing it horizontal hasn't been a problem? I just got a mustang, and was wondering if leaving it in the tube but on its side would be ok.

Mine stand upright in their packaging on my dresser. I did have them laying on their sides in the drawer for a while though.

I just keep them in their original packages. But I do that with most of my toys anyway.

I now toss them in the box with everything else (make sure there aren't any sharp edges around!). There doesn't seem to be any problems.

I just don't have the space to store my VixSkin toys upright in their tubes. I put them in individual plastic bags and toss them into my silicone dildo drawer.

I have a toy cabinet next to the bed (really a bedside table with storage). I store most of them upright on a shelf in there, not in any containers. The Outlaw is too tall, so it's flat on the shelf. They're all in perfect condition; it doesn't seem to make much difference how they're stored in actual practice.
