How durable are glass dildos?

I'm thinking about a glass dildo...Glass seems interesting because it can take any lube, it's easily cleaned and i think conducts heat/cold very well.
But I'm concerned about it's durability...are glass dildos easy to break? Reply

Lord No! The only ones I've heard of breaking have been the ones that have been dropped on a hard floor! Otherwise glass dildos are very durable, so you have nothing to worry about! Reply

I have tons of glass toys :) They are really wonderful, they feel great and they are amazingly sturdy! You should not be concerned about durability, unless(as Erotictouch mentioned) you drop it on a stone floor.
If you treat your glass toy right you'll have it for the rest of your life :) Reply

I believe the majority, if not all, of our glass brands (Phallix, Xhale, Pyrexions, Don Wands, and assorted items from larger companies) use pyrex glass, which is specially made to withstand temperatures and breakage. Despite still having that lovely cool smoothness we associate with the material, these aren't the glass in your windows, or the glass you drink out of, these are thicker and sturdier.

Hope this helps :) Reply

All the glass we sell is pyrex (think kitchenware grade), which means it's more resistant to breaking, will break cleanly rather than shattering if you do drop it on a stone floor, and can safely be used for temperature play. You're right, glass does conduct heat and cold nicely- just be careful not to switch too quickly between those extremes. Reply
