Many harnesses offer interchangeable O-rings. If you get one of these it will probably come with a 1-1/2" - 1-3/4" ring (as most dildos used for strap-on use fit well in one of these rings), but you can get larger rings to use. For a large dildo I'd recommend a metal ring for added support.

Thanks, ScottA. The ring holders on the strap I have won't even adjust to hold a 2" ring. I went to the hardware store and they didn't have a steel ring of 2-1/4 inch. Frustrating. Maybe I'll have to try acehardware online! Hmm, or maybe a leather sex site for guys...
