Can anyone offer some tips on how best to use the pure wand? I have tried to use it on my wife only once and she did not enjoy it. Base on the reviews I think it was my technique. Any tips/suggestions would be most appreciated. It will be an expensive paper weight if she does not warm up to it.

Have her learn to play with it first on her own. I love it, but I still won't let my husband touch me with it yet. (Actually, I won't let him touch me with any toy right now! But especially that one, he muffed it pretty badly once!) First she needs to understand it, then she has to be willing to show you about it. That's a combination of sexuality and relaxation.

It's not a direct thrusting toy because of the curves, weight and angles.

Also, read the reviews on it because everyone offers different perspectives, and tips in their own reviews.

I love the NJoy Pure Wand, one of my favorites but it is a toy I use by myself. My b/f tried but I felt I was being impaled and no pleasure. The Pure Wand takes solo practice and then so easy to find the right spots...the smooth stainless steel and the weight and angle...does it for me.

Ah yes.... Because it is so hard and unforgiving, it makes partner play rather difficult. She should practice with it alone to start with and then show you what she likes and what angle works best. Just remember to be careful when using it on her! Just a slight angle in the wrong direction can lead to discomfort! Also, you could try warming it up in warm water if it's too cold for her! Sometimes when it's cold it can be a bit of a shock unless you're expecting it!

I find that the angle of insertion is VERY important. If my partner pulls downward too much on it, it actually can be painful. Tilting it up so the curve matches my body seems to work for me. Also, less is more (motion-wise) as this toy is firm and unforgiving.

It took my partner a few tries but seemed to work best when ..
we were laying side by side that way his hands and arms were level with mine
and he used a rocking motion not so much a thrusting one .

Warm it up, move very slow and small movements. If you're open to anal play using it on yourself definitely helps you to see very quickly how to use it.
