A man with a larger penis would be more likely to volunteer,as a man with a smaller penis may be too embarrassed to participate. And some studies even allowed the men to measure their own penis. So I believe the actually numbers may be slightly smaller than some of these studies show. I think from what I have read (and it's a lot) that a 5inch circumference penis is on the higher end of average. With 4.5 still being a good fit for most women. If a man were to ask his woman how big around she thought his penis is,she would have no clue and would guess anywhere from 3.5 to 6 inches. Now put the average penis beside a 6 inch circumference dildo and difference is amazing. I know..I'm 5 and look tiny next to a 6. But it's all fun.

I would guess the 4-5" circumference mark is fairly close. It is also a better measurement to use when considering real penises, as they come in many shapes and sizes. For instance, mine is noticeably more elliptical than it is circular. Most dildos on the other hand, are practically perfect circles when looked at down the shaft.
