Silicone for me. Don't own any glass, so I can't comment on them, but I find silicone super easy to clean and is very durable.

Silicone and glass are my two favorite materials by far. Neither really attract hair and dust (like TPE and similar materials), both are super easy to clean and can even be sanitized because they are non porous, and they both feel amazing. The main difference in my opinion is if you want a vibrator or if you want the option of temperature play. And I have all of those on my wish list except the Ami. lol

I couldnt vote because I havent tried all materials, but in my opinion, for texture and ease of cleaning, I like hard plastics. but on the other hand the softer silicone materials I find to be very nice. but I learned the hard way, that after cleaning, they must sit out to air dry, whereas I can dry off the hard plastics and put them away immediately. I have always wanted to try glass, but they are just so expensive.

They're both durable, but your selection of toys is very wide, so there are other considerations in there (such as size, vibrating ability, etc.) to make a direct comparison pretty much useless.

I stick with glass, metal, and silicone. All of your choices look fine, but none of them interest me particularly. I'd recommend checking out the SSA Glass toys, or the Icicles. As for silicone, Tantus has many lovely non-realistic options, as does Fun Factory.

I picked the dichroic just because it's beautiful and awesome looking. But the rainbow would be great as well. I like glass because I like a LOT of pressure on my g-spot.

Having said that, I reviewed the G-Ami and it's not worth your time. At all. It won't do ANYTHING for anyone's g-spot.

Glass is SO much better. It holds the heat so the better the playing is, the hotter it gets which makes you even hotter inside too. Simple to clean, mega durable, and just feels SO much better. Slides easier then silicone imo, and since it is glass it doesn't absorb any wetness so it really can slide if everything is going right.

They're so completely different that it's kind of hard to say which is better. I personally prefer silicone. I just like how soft and flexible it is, but I'm sure glass has just as many fans.

I love both for different reasons. Also, I don't care for insertable vibrators very much because it just doesn't do anything for me. So in both cases I enjoy dildos for thrusting and g-spotting and all that lovely stuff. Essentially they both serve the same purpose, but the difference in texture is very apparent.

Glass! It is by far my favorite. I love the firmness of it, and how a wonderfully shaped glass head can rub my g-spot.

I voted for the Rainbow G because it is glass and inexpensive. However, I think there are other textured glass dildos within the same price range that I'd prefer.

I love them both but prefer silicone over glass. Glass is a great material but is a bit too hard for me in most situations. I like that I can be a bit more rough when I play with silicone toys and won't have to worry about being sore later.

My first experience with glass recently left me disappointed so I'm going with silicone & luxury next. Really wish the glass had been a hit with me. It's so pretty.

Out of all those choices, the silicone desire looks the most appealing to me.

I only own silicone toys, but there are many reasons for that. It is the safest material you get, it is easy to clean, and it feels great. It is hard but soft, unlike glass which is waaaaayyyy to rigid for my taste. Also glass is ice cold, which is a real turn off. I guess the only downside to silicone is the fact that you cannot use silicone lube, and they tend to be expensive. Either way, I always go with silicone.

i like both b/c they're incredibly easy to clean & body safe. Silicone for a more realistic feel or added vibration and glass when i want more pressure on the g-spot.

Personally, I love glass. Nothing against silicone, it is also one of my favorites but I really love glass. The appearance, the feel, the weight, and the wonderful unforgiving textures. However, from the for you have put up for comparison, surprising I find the Desire much more (dare I say?) desirable. I have been wishing for that one for some time.

So very different. Each has it's place in your toy chest. Each has advantages and disadvantages.

Silicone over glass: silicone is more versatile. It can be really firm or super soft. It's really durable, you can't drop it and break it. It feels more similar to flesh, if that's what you're going for.

Glass over silicone: glass is hard, unyeilding, lends itself well to intense textures and serious g-spot stimulation. It won't pick up lint and you can use basically any type of lube with it.

Either way, we're talking about two materials that are nonporous, body safe, temperature retaining, and easy to clean. You can't go wrong.

I don't own any glass toys although I would like to eventually. I think I'd probably prefer silicon though because it's safe and flexible. While glass can be heated, I'd rather have my toys bendy!

I really like my glass. That said sometimes it can be a bit too hard. I still think given most the toys I've seen I'd go with glass most the time, but I definitely want to add a few silicone toys to the collection in the future.

Voted for the Fleur De Lis silicone Desire because it seems like the best toy overall for the price you'd pay for it.

I didn't vote because I think both are good materials. I'm not sure what it is that you are looking for in a product, so it's hard to say what products are better for you. I love glass for the smooth surface, temperature play and firm pressure. I love silicone for the comfort and safety. The surface of silicone is also good, just different.

I like squishy toys, so silicone has become my go-to mat. But honestly, it really depends on you. Glass is great for temperature play, and firm stimulation. Silicone molds to your body. Mostly.
