Ordering one today! They're supposed to have heft to them, and are rigid.

They're one of the top 3 materials for safety (glass, silicone, steel). They're non-porous, can be sterilized, etc. They hold temperature well (put them in ice water for temperature play) and don't have the chance of chipping or breaking like glass I think. It's at least a LOT harder to break steel than it is glass (pyrex glass is supposed to be very strong, too, though.)

So yeah, advantages of steel:
-heavy and hard
-non-porous, easy to clean
-excellent for temperature play
-practically impossible to break, chip, etc.

I have the pure wand and I have to say, I'm not that much of a fan of the material (the shape? Yes. Not the material.) It's crazy heavy, I have to warm it up under water and sometimes it's TOO hard for me.

I want to try acrylic because I feel like it's kind of comparable? I imagine it like glass but without the weight? (Not that crazy about what I've tried of glass either, but maybe they were too big for me?)

We love our steel toys. In steel we have the Pure Wand - which is the first toy that my wife used to 'squirt' - to that we've added the Eleven. The Eleven is an ultra premium toy. For other metals there is the Alumina Flow.

They are effective, easy to clean and offer many unique benefits.
