My wife did not find it painful to use the Share - but it does not stay in - and isn't long enough for effective pegging. They were mostly designed for lesbians - and I think they work better in that situation.

We have to stick with a harness - many of which can accommodate a strapless design - but the strapless dildos lack enough length to be effective for pegging.
