Hi, I'm looking into getting one of these "more realistic" dildos - based off feeling more than looks in importance. Which do you prefer and why?

I dont own the Mustang, but I have the Adam and the Vixskin Johnny. I find that O2 is more firm than Vixskin, by a lot. I find the Johnny to be more realistic, though some say that it is softer than a real penis. I enjoy Vixskin a lot more, even though both are great.
So I would say that if you want something realistic but firmer, then go with Adam, but if you want realsitic but softer go for Vixskin.

I don't have either of these toys but I do have Lonestar and the O2 Mikey. Waterfall is right about the firmness difference. Oddly they both feel real. But its easier to climax with an O2 toy just because the extra firmness applies more pressure. So I voted for Adam just for that reason.
The case where you might want to go with the vixskin option is if you're not sure if you can handle that size. Then softer is easier.

I compared the O2 Rascal to the Vixen Lonestar in this video: link
Skip to about 3:10 in the video to see the Rascal and Lonestar side by side. I concur with other posters about Vixskin being softer than the O2 silicone. (I know the Rascal O2 isn't a realistic dildo but it's still the same kind of dual density design.)

I guess I'm leaning towards the vixskin, but might compare one of the bigger ones since they are squishy. I'm not though if I might like the extra pressure - I haven't used too many toys so far so that makes it harder, lol.
Thank you all for your input... now to try and decide for myself which one =)

In this instance I prefer the look of the Adam. I don't know it just looks a bit more finished and doesn't have the super-prominent ridge where the head meets the shaft (corona?). But I think I prefer the Vixskin material to O2, though I'm basing this off of the O2 of the Rascal, which I've heard is a older version of O2. For this one, I'd say go based on looks...

Having owned O2 Mark and Vixskin Goodfella... I voted for Mustang...
As others have mentioned, the O2 is alot firmer, and the inner core is pretty stiff. While O2 Mark is a well made toy, I don't like it for those reasons.
I much prefer the softer outer Vixskin layer of Goodfella and the more flexible inner core.
As far as the head of Goodfella (and Mustang)... it's prominent but so soft that it isn't uncomfortable at all. Actually, the ridge on the Tantus VIP Supersoft, which looks alot less prominent, was actually annoying for me... and the that's the Supersoft (ie. entirely made of the outer layer O2 material).
