Which dildo?

Contributor: Alan & Michele Alan & Michele
We're looking for a dildo that's soft/squishy like Cyberskin but not made out a material that you don't have to use a condom with.

The problem is, we can't use latex condoms, and nobody makes a non-latex condom that doesn't have silicone lube on the inside and outside. Silicone screws up Cyberskin. So... any suggestions?

P.S. Yes, natural lamb condoms have water-based lube, but they don't block bacteria, so that's why we didn't mention them.

Vixskin. Surprisingly soft/squishy like UR3 and Cyberskin, but is actually silicone

VixSkin also works for us and can be sterilized by boiling. I love the texture.

I think the Tantus O2 dildos are pretty squishy.

What other parameters are you looking for?

Didn't think you need to use a condom with Cyberskin? My wife has used it several times without any problems. I am just sure to wash it well with antibacterial soap and rinse well prior to use and after.

We also own Vixskin, which is a firmer inside core, it definitely doesn't get as 'squishy' as cyberskin when warmed up tho, so not sure it is what you are looking for.

IMO if you are worried about bacteria, then as liz2 said any silicone will be good for peace of mind, because you can boil it.

Good luck and tell us if you find something you like!

You don't necessarily need to use a condom with Cyberskin, unless you're using it between different orifices (i.e. anus and vagina) or sharing it between partners and their orifices. Just to be safe, as Cyberskin harbors bacteria.

Vixskin is probably the squishiest, but the O2 Revolution comes close.

Thanks everyone, it sounds like we need to try out a VixSkin then. We've got the O2 Revolution, but it's a bit wide to use on a regular basis and I'm not crazy about the Niagra's texturing. Still have my fingers crossed that Tantus will expand the O2 line though.

As for the condoms on Cyberskin, a lot of people don't, but I'm paranoid about using anything so porous without one.

The vagina is pretty acidic, pH 4.5 I believe. Unless she has bacterial vaginosis or gets yeast infections, is it that much of a concern if you wash with antibacterial soap?

I have no idea exactly how risky it really is. There's been several people on here that have indicated that enough bacteria can collect on very porous toys over time to cause problems though, so we just chose to take the cautious route with ours.

So far, we've used some "skin" toys for penetration with lambskin condoms and then thrown them away after several uses, but that's too wasteful to continue. We're going to go ahead and give the VixSkin a try next.

Let us know what you get and if you like it. I think my wife would rather have the softer stuff and cyberskin seems to be her favorite. Not sure if there is a softer silicone like the cyberskin out there with similar size and color to the cyberskin...

Just an update for the folks who asked for it--- VixSkin turned out to exactly what we were looking for. Safer than Cyberskin, less rigid than the O2 Revolution, and more realistic than both.
Thanks to everyone who made the suggestion!

Awesome! I just bought the Lonestar but haven't used it yet with my wife. I do love how it feels in my hand and like someone said, it would make a good squeezeball (no pun intended). I think it may be a little thick for her, but it does seem to be getting softer and smaller now that it is out of box! (maybe its just my perception).

Can't wait to read your review...
