At the moment, I'm really keen on wood out of the ones above. I'm getting annoyed with the amount of lint silicone attracts.

I have all of those and a lot of others too, and they all FEEL very different. Love them all. Depends what you are going for at a given time. Glass is SMOOTH and perfect for all kinds of things. Still scares me a bit (never sure they won't break), so play gentle with them. Silicone you can go to town with, and WOOD is just sensual and warm. Think about how YOU want to play with a given toy and enjoy. That is why there are so many kinds....keep creating YOUR collection.

Although I've heard glass and whatnot are "smooth" I've had the hard plastic dildos and they feel so.. firm. Almost uncomfortable.. at least the silicone offers some sort of cushy-ness...

I love silicone the best, mainly because most silicone toys are soft and easy to care for. I like glass, too, but you have to be a lot more gentle when you play with glass, or you might bruise something. >_O You also need to check for scratches or fractures before you play, just to be safe. Not a problem with silicone.

I also enjoy plastic, because it's lightweight and transfers vibration really well. Plastic isn't going to last as long as silicone or glass, but at least it's cheap.
