I agree it is the combined fact that it is double points week and Valentines day. You should see the crazy amount of stuff I bought for myself! (4 large orders delivered this week! One on Monday and One on Wednesday.)

I have no real idea why so many things are out of stock, but wow it is crazy to see. Many of the things i want to try have been out lately. I have found something i wanted to get just a few days before goes out and then i cant get what i was looking at. This has been frustrating but i understand that lots of people are on EF and they all want to get fun things.

1: The product is popular, and demand exceeds EF's current supply.
2: It's around Valentine's day, so a lot of people are in the mood and/or feel like it's a special occasion.
3: Valentine's day is EF's most profitable holiday, not Christmas or "holiday season"

1 - Valentine's Day - brought in an influx of customers that aren't EF "regulars." This increases demand that there likely wasn't the stock to accommodate.

2- Sales - The big Valentine's Day sale increased demand for both regulars and new customers. Instead of buying one item maybe people bought two or three with the promo.

3 - The items that went out of stock are the high demand items.

4 - Double Points Week - As all orders receive an extra 5% bump in points, this increases orders. It has a double impact near the end of the week when people want to cash out their earnings from the week and still get the double points for the purchase.

Thus, out of stock on lots of stuff.
