Both can be good, as long as the design works.

Too afraid to try wood in case of splinters. Glass is fine, but I also wonder about the metals.

Glass no doubt. Wood is a huge turn off for me.

They have some properties in common, actually. They both hold temperature well and are firm.

Glass is really really wonderful. I'm always kind of paranoid about whatever they treat the wood with, though, so it's not for me purely on a psychological level (I always find reasons to worry.)

Glass because it's non-porous.

The wood toys I've tried really didn't do it for me. I like the weight of glass.

I've never tried wood but don't really have an interest in doing so. I love everything about glass toys!

I like glass. I would not mind trying the wood at some point.

Of the two I would say glass is better. I certainly wouldn't want splinters!

wood will degrade over time, and its hard to clean without destroying the finish.
