If it was cheap, I would buy it as a "back up". If it was remotely expensive, I wouldn't buy a second one just because it was a different color.

Maybe? I think it would just depend.

If I absolutely loved the toy, like it was my favorite thing on the fn planet, I'd be more likely to do it. It would also depend on exactly how expensive it was.

I wouldn't be opposed to buying even a moderately expensive vibe that I already owned in a "limited edition" color that I absolutely loved that wasn't going to be around forever.

My reasoning would be that eventually, the toy I already have WILL give out. When that happens, it may be discontinued, or the super awesome limited addition color might not be available.

Downside being that buying a toy for "safe keeping" would probably make whatever warranty was on it useless. Would a one year warranty still run out if I never opened the box?

If it was my favorite toy and my favorite color, I'll have to admit that I would buy it again. I already have a couple of duplicates of toys that are the same color, so I know I'd be buying it.

Depends on how much it was and it I really didn't like to color of the one I have, and if both of us were going to use the toy.

I'm actually in this situation right now. My favorite toy of all time broke and I've been dying to get a replacement but it hasn't been in stock until now. I'm now trying to decide if I should splurge and get the more expensive color I like or get the cheaper, more boring version.

I want to say no as it just makes me feel uncomfortable, no matter how clean the product could potentially be...That being said, if I could find a vixskin soft serve in the vixskin material...this is the one product I think I would break my rule for. Can't find it anywhere and it's discontinued.

It would depend on the price of the toy. If it was too much then I'd be fine with keeping the one I had, but if it wasnt too much it might be nice to have it in a cool color
