Best gift ever received?

Chastity Darling Chastity Darling
I am curious as to the best gift you have ever received. Anything you want to choose, no particular category.

Mine was probably my nook. I got a 1st gen version super cheap (i picked it out, hubby bought it) at the pawn shop. I love it. I can now carry a whole library and it is small enough to fit in my purse!!

What about you??

My crossbow- I wanted one for so long, and I got told that it was borrowed from a friend of my husbands to see if I liked shooting it. Well, of course, I loved it, and it was really mine!

A tiny opal necklace. I have all kinds of jewelry, but when we went to Australia on a vacation, years ago, my hubby wanted so much to go "opal hunting", and we did. After half a day in the sun, he found one small opal, but after polishing it turned out to be a super colorful, beautifully clear stone. He mounted it in a little gold bezel and I wore it back to the USA (yes, I did it legally and declared it at Customs, thank you). Anyway, that has remained one of my favorite "gifts" ever from him. I love it. It sparkles with the love he shows me and it has all the colors in the rainbow.

That was cool. All that gold. Oh my, oh my. However, the "pillow" (stool) they slept on back then? I don't get that at all. Heads were NO different 5000 years ago. How on earth did they sleep on a hard thing like that?

My dad gave me a massage table several years ago which I was so thankful for since they are not cheap! I used it all through massage school and still use it to work on clients and friends at home. It's a nice sturdy one too I've had it 7 years and it still is as nice as the day I got it.

Anything that my Mom gave me. They were the best gifts of all. Some gifts were tickets to a Red Sox game, tickets to see Amy Grant and Vince Gill in a Christmas Concert, various toys, and Jewelry. I miss getting gifts from her.
