I've seen them but am scared to use one. I also don't know that much about them, so that could be my problem. Isn't wood porous? And if not, that means they probably have a finish, is the finish bad for you?

There are some GREAT wood toys out there, but always do your research if you are considering something new

I have a nobessence toy and it is finished and their finish is completely body safe. They are great toys! You should check them out!

Nob Essence toys are finished with a non-porous and body safe finish, and they have a guarantee.
(The same is not true of wooden dildos made by random folks on eBay, because wood in its natural state is porous, and you have no way of knowing what sort of finish was used.)
