I think recycling centers can handle health issues. It could be set up in a way that would be safe.

I dunno. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable taking my old toys to a recycle drop off site. Would be embarrassing for me.

I think for more complicated things like vibrators it would be more complex to recycle them, but it should still be possible.

That would be so awesome! However, I live so far out in the country, I can't recycle tin here, let alone anything special that cities pick up. So, probably not going to happen.

No, I think toys would fall under the umbrella of potential biohazards. I'd worry that some of this stuff would end up "refurbished" and back on the market if it was recycled. I've read stories (via product reviews) of customers who have ordered new toys and received things that had clearly been opened or used.
