Generally I prefer rechargeable, though that can mean that the toy itself is rechargeable or that rechargeable batteries can be used in them.
This is funny given what I've been talking about and dealing with tonight:
1. I got a vibrator that uses AAs and promptly got a rechargeable duracell stuck in it. Three different types of pliers later, it seems fine (and to work OK with Energizer rechargeables). I'll post the whole story in my review.
2. I was just on a post about green toys and was extolling the hardwood dildo guy because he seems to use reclaimed wood in a lot of cases (e.g., from a hurricane in Virginia ... I was tempted to offer him my tree that came down in Irene.)
3. I was just on another post about recycling sex toys, including sending them in for recycling and the idea of passing along underused, nonporous toys. I'm all for that.
What I HATE is the watch batteries that die after one use. I really can't deal with that. I've had toys that do that and I end up never using them because it creeps me out to spend 2 watch batteries, or whatever, to get myself off. Why use those when there are other toys that don't make you have to deal with that?
