How important is "green" when it comes to your sex toys?

As a couple we tend to focus on looking for things that are rechargeable. Much easier to deal with in the long run.

I think the number one green factor to me is able to recharge the toy. Batteries are such waste!

We all know it's important to be green; recycle, buy local, re-use, etc. A lot of us live in cities where recycling is mandatory and farmer's markets dot every corner in the summer. But how much ... more
I use whatever toys seem most fun

I love the idea of solar powered vibes (although the only one EF has right now looks pretty weak). However, I'm steering clear of wooden dildos.

I care more about the functions of a toy than its footprint.

I'm more concerned with keeping my sex life red-hot than green.

I buy what's fun, and if it's a dud, I toss it. There isn't a recycling program within 30 minutes of a drive for me, and the bins cost a ton extra plus I live in an apt. complex where my landlord would never bother. Basically....I'd recycle if it were convenient in any way, shape, or form for me.

I like the idea of having more green toys available. There are a lot of people who prefer green.

I but rechargeable toys. And I have thought of getting eco-friendly lube. Maybe the next time I buy it.

To be honest, it's not the first or even second thing I consider when buying toys. Recyclable packaging is always a plus, and I like rechargeable toys simply because I hate having to change batteries.

I try to be as green as possible and am really into organic and local but it's not always possible.

As much as I do love the planet that provides us with life, I don't believe that my bedroom life is the biggest non-green outlet in my life. I'd much rather start a garden with a rain barrel drip irrigation system in my backyard to prevent unnecessary use of pesticides, packaging and shipping of my food.

That said, rechargeable batteries / toys are something I prefer but I'm not going to go out of my way to get them or replace my non-rechargeable toys until they break. It's more important to me to avoid possible toxins / allergens (they put a damper on the mood)

I use whatever toys seem most fun and lube that works best for the toy don't really do the GREEN thing to be honest

Couldn't find a bullet to fit my category. I save all my packaging anyway for both information in some cases and in case of returns. I haven't found a Green toy that really flips my switch and having received so many free lubes who has to order them? The only lubes I buy are sensor lubes like Ultra Heat, things like that. I am into recycling but with toys, functionality is important and if a Green toy doesn't do it for me, is it really worth it?

I do my best! My daily vibe is a rechargeable, I use natural lube, and I looked into sex toy recycling, but couldn't find a place around here that will take old toys.

The library? Interesting. Need to check that out. Thanks

I always wonder about this, however. I have read where it takes more energy and burns more fuel to recycle then to "make new". Also, extra bins means extra trucks on the road..etc. I wish we really had all the facts.
