I am actually getting into rechargeable toys and LOVE it with an exception of having to wait for it to charge if it dies instead of being able to pop in a new set of batteries and go

I don't have any rechargeable toys (yet)
but i'd go for wall simply because thats better for roommate living depending on where the outlet was you could easy tuck it behind something so they wouldn't see.
Solar is a neat idea though for sure!
