I'm not sure what the inseam of the medium is but I do know that the XL fits a 6 foot male very well.

My husband is 6'2" and they worked great for hum, reaching just below mid-ankle.

I'm guessing the length may be somewhat relative to the size. As I posted in my review on these, I ordered the small, and the inseam is only 29", with a total length of 38.5".

I'm wearing the small as we speak and they're too long for my (I'm 5' 6") so I imagine a bigger size would be perfect.
