My guy tends to prefer red or black lingerie. That said, color doesn't seem to really influence his level of arousal.

I think most guys prefer red...it's a more eyecatching color and is actually scientifically linked to desire.

In theory, YES: Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I personally don't like red lingerie as I feel it looks some what tacky.
In practice, NO: If a woman puts on lingerie as a precursor to having sex with me then I am going to honestly love whatever colour she's wearing.

I don't think so...at least in my experience, any lingerie is sexy to them, regardless of its color. This might just be because I only wear black or purple, though, and I definitely agree that most reds sort of look tacky...

Colors do matter, I'm not much into white or yellow. Also it will depend on the tan she has, don't want her to wear anything that will wash her out.

I haven't found it to matter much. Maybe if it were a weird color (like neon orange) then it would matter, though.

Honestly, while I have color preferences on my wife - primarily black, leopard print, and red - my favorite lingerie color is whatever she happens to be wearing.
