I've never done it, but I have no problem with the practice. It's very common in Japan (you can buy used panties, sometimes based on hair color, in vending machines. Red hair is the biggest seller I've read.) The panties are usually sold anonymously.
The backs of a lot of men's magazines have ads for used panties.

This sounds interesting but I wouldn't want any personal information to be known in the transaction. It's kind of hard to sell socks or panties without also releasing information or an avenue to obtain information.
