I'm new to this whole thing and I have no clue what size I should get.
My bust is:40
and my waist is:42

Do I go for the XL or the 1X? I read the two reviews on each size but still not sure.

With Coquette I would go with the bigger size. They tend to run small I have read. Just to be on the safe side.

Based in the Coquette size chart, I think the 1X/2X will be too big for you.

I had similar measurements and I found I liked the larger better. It was more comfortable and make it look a bit more flattering in some circumstances.

Agreed, that's what I would do anyway, going with the smaller one, guessing that it may fit good enough hopefully... ^^

I ordered the XL in the tops I chose today. I hope they fit. I'm so glad I can send them back if I need the bigger size.

If it's not TOO tight and only slightly then I'm going to stick with the XL. I'm planing to lose some weight in the next couple of months so I don't want something much bigger because I want to be able to wear it even when I lose some weight.
