Ladies: What's your Body Size?

Contributor: Kayla Kayla
Just a random survey to see what size you wear. I'm a bit curious what the make-up is here on EF. If there is a topic like this, I didn't find one, and what's the harm in finding the sizes of current forum-goers anyway?

I've so far been disappointed in the lingerie selection in larger plus-size here on EF. (I can't say too much. I'm disappointed on that on most websites - EF actually does better than most.) So just for statistics and my curiosity, what's your clothing size and how does it effect your lingerie purchasing?

(For example, if you are a size small but busty, how does it effect you? etc.)

I really have no lingerie at all, but there are many adorable things here at Eden I'm lusting over. I chose 1X/2X, but I'm more like a 2X/3X girl.

I use Hips and Curves' website because they have hosiery that actually fits me. They also have lovely corsets and a nice selection of leather/vinyl.

As a rule, I'm a medium.

There's barely anything for those who wear XS on EF

I'm a small in most areas but my hips/thighs push me into "medium" territory depending on if the designer thought a small waist=small hips or not. Sometimes I win sometimes I lose :/

I'm usually a Medium in clothes and lingerie, but it can be difficult to find things that fit me because of my small waist (25"), but large bust (34D) and hips/butt (38").

Generally, if something fits my boobs, it's a bit big on my waist, but I have found a few exceptions to the rule. It all depends on the brand of clothing or lingerie. Oh well, I think every woman has a hard time finding things that fit, cuz we're all shaped differently!

Isn't that the truth! It's not just us big girls that have trouble, some smaller girls have big butts or hips or breasts as you said. Nowadays, you see LOTS of variety in sizes and shapes.

I have bought lingerie on here that fits from sizes L to 1X/2X. So that's hard for me... My hips and breasts are really large, I'm pretty short, but everything is proportional sorta. I don't know, it's weird.

I'm kind of hard to fit, because I'm short and very short waisted (have about 2-3 inches between my waist and my boobs) I have rather large breasts (most manufacturers don't take into account that 5 ft tall woman can be a full C cup for some reason) and a big butt for a small woman, but I'm not "big." Zaftig is probably the best way to describe me. But, because I'm so petite, short body, short arms, short legs, it is really hard to get things to fit.

I often have to try things on. I have lingerie in every size from an extra small (from Kohls, in a stretchy fabric) to a large. I usually buy medium or an 8 or 10 petite, if I can get it (and if the boobs fit) or a Junior 9.

I tried on a really cute, sexy Halloween costume yesterday and it fit everywhere except the boobs. I wish the clothing manufacturers would realize that "tiny" women often have T&A.

the more post about this the better

I'm a pear shape, so I tend to buy adjustable things that I can make fit my top, since I am a size smaller in the top than the bottom, and EF doesn't carry mismatch... add to that a small selection of XS and Ive got some slim pickings!

I'm curvy, with a bigger bottom than chest, with long legs and torso. I'm almost six feet tall.

They did one of these surveys not too long ago to figure out what kind of stock EF should have.

I'm M/L depending on style.

I fight lingerie and cloths sizes all the time. I weigh 119lbs, have an athletic build, long torso and I am 5'7" with 34B boobs. Right now I find clothes in Old Navy and the junior section of Macy's but I have to spend time searching. My g/fs' say that I shouldn't have a problem but I do. Lingerie is a challenge, small boobs just seem to get more lost, Victoria Secret works for me but I try things on.
My size sm to med (for comfort).

I'm so sad that I can't fit into any Hips and Curves corsets anymore - they're too small. I Really love some of their choices.

That really sucks; my sympathies.

I'm a M/L for sure, that's why I chose other. I usually go for Medium but I am pear shaped with wide hips and a J-Lo butt so I need large in the bottoms.

I don't consider myself that large, but lingerie wise I need XL or 1X. I am not small, and my clothes fit different since I had my son anyways. It doesn't help my confidence very much when I get a one size fits most and it doesnt fit me... I do have a large chest so that doesn't help when looking for lingerie either.

Right now I'm at an XL. I have been and am continuing to lose weight; having to buy new clothes all the time quickly feels like a waste.

I'm an XS to S, and sometimes it can get quite frustrating. I have a tiny waist, but my hips and butt are a bit bigger, as well as my chest, so when I want to get, say, a corset (or something corset-like), I really have to pay attention to the sizing because otherwise there will be a lot of room around the waist, which is not how they're supposed to fit.

Er, most of my weight is in my ass (it's frickin' huge!), hips, and thighs so, uh, I have to get a very large size.

My tops can be small or a small medium, and for pants, they're large or a large medium.

I'm small but "skinnyfat" I would like to lose 10 pounds. I don't have much of a problem with close except jeans...I've found my size 5-7 depending on brand or style of pants..where my legs just won't fit I don't have small feminine legs the thighs are bigger? or if my legs fit they are tight on my ass sometiems.but I haven't had much of a problem..I've found pants to look very nice on me but it may sound strange I get a pain in my back and legs like they hurt. happened a couple times..

if I lay on my bed and lift my leg up I will get a pain from my thigh ass and back hard to explain

Personally, it's difficult to go lingerie shopping. I am very endowed with large breasts and hips. It is not easy to find lingerie that is not meant for those who are not of the stick-thin model figure.

I fit in mediums on average. I could wear small but the bra part would be ridiculously too small for me as medium itself is a little small.

I am a size 10 clothing size (I think that's a size 8 in US sizes?) but I have DD boobs lol so trying to find t-shirts that fit properly in a right royal pian n the butt cause I like them tight. Most of the lingerie I have to go get fitted because things never fit right upstairs in regards to my regular clothing size. I also have short legs and am only 5"2 so finding pants that fit length wise are also a bitch. normally I go in the kids section and find pants there haha.

It's very common for petite (<5'2") to shop in the children's section of department stores - I saw it all the time when I worked at Macy's in children's wear. It just makes sense.

I have always found that when it comes to dressing the lower half of myself things seem to fit better doing it that way, the adult sized pants always have legs that go past my toes and have to be tailored. One day maybe clothing manufacturers may realise most people who are short don't have long lanky legs haha.
