Both me and D subscribe to the belief that saving a little bit for the imagination is the way to go. We both feel that the pieces of lingerie that show everything are sort of pointless; why are you wearing it then if it shows so much? With that in mind I'm finding more who are the opposite; they really like the pieces that show everything.

So, I'm curious what you think and why?

My wife doesn't really wear much lingerie. However, when she does I believe her preference is for a little more coverage purely for modesty issues. I would be happy with whatever she is comfortable wearing. My person preference would be for nudity. There is nothing more beautiful than the human body.

If I had the chance to chose it would be something that covered the good stuff, I love unwrapping my present. One thing I like about the wife is she always makes it a surprise as to what she wears, I only know she is putting something on.

It depends on a lot of things, I think. Sometimes I will wear something that shows a lot. I think the pieces that show a lot of skin enhance the look of things which are already there. For example, if I wear a shelf bra for my husband, then it is going to show my breasts entirely - but it kind of adds a little extra "decoration" if you will.

Heck, sometimes I will even wear just nipple clamps as "decoration". Lingerie to me is such a wide and varied thing. Sometimes my husband enjoys me in a dress which covers everything, but clings to my curves. Sometimes we both like me to be more naked, with just a few little "touches" to make things look a bit different than normal.

I never really understood the idea of lingerie leaving "things to the imagination". If it is lingerie, then you're going to take it off in 90% of cases. I DO understand enjoying the anticipation leading up the the event though. I know a lot of people enjoy the slow reveal of their partners or themselves. I do think that what you wear in *public* should leave a little something to the imagination. But that's getting off topic.

You know I've always wanted to try a shelf bra. They seem sort of pointless (going back to the "Leaving something to the imagination" but maybe adding nipple pasties would get me over that ya now? HHmmm....

One thing which I like about shelf bras, is that with D cups, I enjoy the support while still having my nipples available for "use"

LOL I can totally see that! I'm like a B and a half cup LOL But, I'm still pretty big number wise, about a 41 so it'd be nice to have support and not have some massive bra with cloth up to my neck

I like to go with the majority vote here.. I don't wear lingerie much, but I love teddys.. particularly the ones with lace underwire bras with mini pleated sheer chiffon front and open back :] accentuates all the perfect things and totally brings you back to the 70's.

I wear lingerie to either play up my best features or those that my partner loves. sometimes this means a little amount of clothes and sometimes it can also be done with more coverage. So...depends!

It's not so much the amount of skin that's showing, it's how it's being displayed that matters when it comes to the lingerie I choose.

I'm comfortable enough to run around skyclad 24/7 and he has very particular tastes in lingerie. He likes there to be sheer coverage and he prefers it to be black, white, purple or blue. It doesn't really matter to me so long as it doesn't make me want to rip three layers of skin off by scratching and it's reasonably priced. There are a few things I've earmarked on my wishlist that I'm dying to get ahold of but I stick to one site for most of my purchases.

I love lingerie that leaves stuff to my imagination; especially if it's flattering to the body.

I love long gowns especially. They're gorgeous, and if they're flattering, they can be much sexier than most types of lingerie.

I tend to like leaving something to the imagination. It just seems sexier to me. Plus, I usually feel sexier when I'm not showing everything since I am not as comfortable with my body as I could be. If something skimpy looks flattering, then I might wear it once in a while, but as a rule I like to wear a bit more. I especially like corsets.

I love that there's always an "other."

I like the idea of lingerie, and I think it's more fun to leave a little to the imagination, but I can see more revealing lingerie as fun too.

But overall, I feel like lingerie is a sometimes kind of thing

If it's barely there, then I think, "Why bother at all?" Now, if it's layered, a g-string and bra, for example, underneath something else that's sexy - costume perhaps. Then, you're really talking about something interesting! I like a package to unwrap. Otherwise, I'll just take it off in 2 seconds because it's in my way...

We -men- like to have mystery things. We like to unvover this mystery by our selfs. So, sexy lengeries provide us for more exsiting because it motivate our brain rather than our blood. We need to what under those tinny clothes, and what it look like even if my wife wearing them
