Burning from Boy Butter?

ScottA ScottA
Has anyone else here come across a burning sensation when using Boy Butter anally (or vaginally for that matter)?

I've looked at the ingredients and don't see any of the usual suspects, but it's rather uncomfortable to use.

Wow, that's...unpleasant. I've never used oil-based lubes for anything other than handjobs, though. Have you tried other oil-based lubes anally?

That's really unfortunate about the burning. My partner and I really like Boy Butter for use with silicone toys. We've both used it anally with no problems. I hope you can find a lube that works for you.

I've used a mix of shortening and coconut oil with no problems. I'm wondering if perhaps the sample I got had a little bit of residue from one of the other types mixed in or something, especially since (a) I can't immediately find anything that I know gives me a bad reaction and (b) I've never heard of anyone else having a problem with Boy Butter.

That is really strange! I wish BBL would hurry up and set up their Eden Link account - then you could ask them!

I suggest discontinuing use - whatever it is, your body doesn't like it!

Boy Butter has glycerin in it which may very well be causing burning for you? Glycerin can do that for many people with a sensitivity to it.
