Do you use lube?

I've never used lube before - not counting lubricated condoms.
is sex that much better with lube, or do you find that it is unneeded?

I always used to be a very heavy self-lubricator, but medicines, and maybe age, have made it so I like to use lube. For some toys, such as silicone, I prefer lube, no matter what. Of course, if you do any anal play, using lube is safer for you!

Also, I don't want to have to warm up sometimes, so having the lube right there allows me to get right to it. I think it's always a good idea to have at least some because you never know. Even if just going at it for a long time, adding some lube can make a big difference. And, as a female, having some lube can make it interesting and different while masturbating.

I would definitely try some, maybe buy a trial size of the Sliquid, or another sample sized lube they have here. Or, chose a few free samples of lube with your next order, (a nice new offer when ordering is choosing 3 sample lubes!)

I use it every now and then, but I definitely use for anal.

at times it is unneeded but it can be fun depending on the lube, the smell, effect, ect....

I usually only use lube when I drink. For some reason I seem to dry up after consuming alcohol.

It is fairly rare that we use lube, my love is moist enough most of the time. However, I keep a couple bottles of lubes in the side table and will occasionally put some on her, or my fingers when engaging in foreplay. I recall one day we were fooling around and she began rubbing her vulva, and intermittently licking her fingers for moisture. I reached into the drawer and pulled out the bottle, and told her to try a couple drops on herself. It was exciting to listen to her reaction when she put that first lubed finger on her clit, got a nice Ummmm, oh, that's nice out of her. To my amazement, once we began intercourse she felt much more slippery than usual. Maybe it was just the novelty, I am not sure, but it felt great, and I climaxed easily, and quicker than normal for me.
Hmmmmm, might have to give that a try again soon.

I'm not really one to keep lube on hand. It's been fun sometimes in the past, but I'm naturally pretty wet on my own (sometimes even annoyingly so!)

That said, I think that Wicked Wahine makes some great points. There are times, mostly when I'm playing on my own, that I don't even feel like warming up and just want to get straight to the point. Using lube would make that a lot easier.

Hmm, something to think on there. Maybe I'll have to add some lube to my next toy order...

Lube is definitely important for anal play and penetration! Besides the added comfort that lube can provide, lack of lube can lead to increased transfer of STIs, bacterial infections, and small tears. Non-lubricated anal penetration causes more friction!

I can say a well lubricated vagina feels much better than a drier one. It is good to have adequate foreplay.

And for anal it is a must, needless to say.

It all depends on what type of lube you want to use.

Water based lube- works for every purpose and only a little amount it needed in all cases

Hybrid lube- both water and silicone lube mixed together to look like cum. Better for vaginal or anal use without a condom

Silicone lube- only used for anal without a condom.

This all should be used in moderation, so don't go overboard.

in my personal experience, it is better. it more than halved my orgasm time, and gave me better and more reliable orgasms. However, it is important to find something for you, and preferably not petrolatum based (high risk infection, allergies, and other irritants -- Ex: mineral oil, petroleum jelly, glycerin - unless specified as vegetable based).

Some great, clean, and affordable brands that also have variety are "Please", "Sliquid," and "Gun Oil." There are others, but these are the best i've found so far, ordered by price. Keep in mind, 8oz is a full cup, and a single ounce should last for more than one love making, unless you're really going for it! XD

Honestly, a good lube lasts, feels at least close to natural, can be used as often as needed, and shouldn't need constant reapplication or a "boost" of water to reslic it up. While Gun Oil is pretty straight forward, it literally is military grade*. These are awesome brands that have organic, water-based, hybrid (water and silicone base), silicone, vegetable based, flavored, minute amount silicone, and all are non-sugar, non-glycerin or other petrols, unscented, and have lower chances of allergies.

As for Gun Oil (True Story): Soldiers would use their "Gun Oil", which actually had no "oil" in it, to masterbate in order to releive stress on the battlefield. They found that it felt great and lasted well with only a little used. A higher ranking member of the military back home got the idea to make this a thing, and now it's a famous sex lubricant.

Another fact: Silicone can withstand temperatures from about -26 to +460 F. it kept guns working smoothly, and coolly, but kept them from jamming up (potentially hazardous for multiple reasons) in the cold and when wet with water bases, since it can still work despite contact with water.

i was born short-winded, so my hands learned to make up for it when sharing information.

Edit:

Oh my word. O.O i just read everyone else's comments, and i was expecting some new, great lube mentions, and now i feel like the lube queen! it is a good thing i am comfortable talking about this, because i've heavily researched it. i've essentially mentioned the sum of my research, but i could list other if you have a bigger wallet than me, such as "Pur", "Essential", and i could get my list out. o.O

i medically have pain, lube issues (varies: sometimes soaked, sometimes Sahara), and allergies, as well as other problems, so i guess it just became a "thing" for me to have to learn. i never get on any site too much, but i can expound, if no one else does (on advise).

i sure wish their medical dilator set was cheaper. it's the perfect example of things that go well with lubes for people with problems!
