Finding the perfect viscosity...

Know what I hate? Watery lube. Even those 'gel' products like Wet Gel and ID Glide are too damn watery for my tastes. See, I only need a certain part of the anatomy made slick, I do not need slippery balls. Maybe others like the feel of greasy nuts, but that's not to my taste...
A similar problem has occurs with the denser stuff, though in the opposite way, like CalEx's Anal Lube; Stays exactly where I want it, but tends to get tacky in a hurry.

The trial-and-error method of seeking out the right viscosity for me would be slow, expensive and required a larger case for storing the collection...

So a month ago, I decided to check if I could mix two together; Wet Gel and CalEx's Anal lube. Took the top off the near-empty CalEx product and shot in the last few squirts of the Wet. Top back on and shook it up good. The result wasn't promising; It didn't look like the mixture was actually going to combine, so I figured I had just wasted my time. I then absentmindedly dropped it into my work pack instead of the trash. The pack stayed in my truck for three days during a heat wave while I was working.

When I found the bottle, I gave it a shake just to see...

Turns out, that bit of heat seemed to have 'cooked' the two lubes together, and the result was perfect. Slightly more viscous than shower gel so it stays where I put it, and it stays nice and wet for even an extended session. It is exactly what I was after, so I now have a fresh pair of bottles on the way of the two sorts and I intend to work out the mix ratio and heat them up with some hot water to 'cook' together to see if I can repeat the process and end up with two full bottles of the perfect lube.

Anyone else try this mix-and-match approach to get what they're after? Any luck? Any recipes?

Sounds crazy, I never would have though of mixing lubes. I imagine you'd only mix lubes of the same type, i.e. silicon with silicon/ water with water?

Huh, I've never thought of doing that before. It's really cool that you were able to do that, I'm looking forward to hearing about your future experiments.

I would expect so, yeah. I can't see mixing water and oil having any usable results, save perhaps making masturbation a bit more of a challenge.

The only time that I have ever mixed lubricants is when I am making semi-frozen lubricant shooters. I like to mix various water based lubricants with either silicone lubricant, or a hybrid.

I've never mixed lubes before unless they got mixed by accident. I usually put my arousal gel on first adn then let it sit and then put the lube on.
