Toss out the KY. It's awful stuff that goes gummy far too quickly! It's no good for anal sex.

Maximus is good, as is Probe. If you are not using any silicone toys in your anal adventures, you might try a silicone lube like System JO. These lubes will stay slick longer than water-based ones.

I have no idea why KY is so popular, the stuff is gross. It was the first lube I tried (my boyfriend bought it, not me) and even not knowing anything about lube, I hated it. Trust me, it does not work for anal sex. When that said boyfriend tried to use it for anal sex all I ever felt was pain, it just didn't do a good enough job. Maximus works really good for an anal lube, that's what I use and I love it. It might seem kind of expensive, but it lasts a very long time since it only takes a small amount and has good staying power. There are some really good lube reviews on this site that you can check out too.

KY is crap. End of story.

Try Sliquid, or System JO, or Maximus. You'll never go back to KY again.
