This is NOT a lubricant.

Too much of a worrier to risk something like that. Besides, I find buying this stuff (online because I am somewhat of a chicken) to be kind of fun...

My body is so sensitive I'd never even think about using anything other than regular lube.

When I was younger, before I had a place of my own, I used to sneak off to my room with vaseline... never had any problems, but it was still probably a bad idea. lol

Yeah, I hear ya. Though I discovered very quickly that shampoo used anally had about the same effect as, well, shampoo in the eyes. D: That was one experience I decided not to repeat.

I've used Aloe Vera gel as a lubricant (for female masturbation, not insertation purposes) and that worked pretty well.

That's sound TERRIBLY painful! All I can say is she's obviously not that bright if she let her boyfriend use shampoo as lube.

I would try a health food store or Trader Joes.

I use Virging coconut oil, never used it for lube, but I can definitely see why people would! It's really good for your skin (if your careful of the brand and purity like you said) but I wouldn't want to because of the greasy factor. Lol. Coconut oil is great for everything! I eat it and you can wash your hair with it. Works wonders for your hair and you can even use it as lotion! I don't care for the feeling on my skin, but it's highly moisturizing.

I hate lube, but when I was with with a guy (a very dumb one) several years back, he was desperate and would not leave me alone one night about sex and I was getting to the point of being pissed about it and finally asked if I gave in, would he leave me alone for the rest of the night he said yes. Then was pissed because it wasn't "wet enough" he was super pissed about it and I'm like what do you expect?! I DO NOT want to have sex. So, he ended up grabbing some love spell lotion from VS and used it! I was furious.. and on fire! That shit burned so bad and it was damn near impossible to clean it all out. It left the inside and outside of my cooter hurting for 2 days!

Wow, what a story! I've barely used regular lube (though usually always have some on hand for solo play). I certainly have the sense to know never to try to substitute such things. *Look of horror*

I use coconut oil as a detangler/conditioner for my hair. Because I use my hands to apply it to my hair, it also keeps my hands nice and soft and seems to make my fingernails grow faster as well. I also eat a couple of tablespoons of coconut oil(with a little honey) on toast most mornings to keep my digestive tract lubricated. (I keep one jar in the bathroom and one in the kitchen.) It doesn't seem to have helped me lose any weight, but it certainly keeps me from getting constipated. And it's supposedly full of things that are just generally good for you.

I knew coconut oil was a versatile product, but I never thought about using it as a lubricant for sex. However, I imagine that it would work well. BTW, pure, virgin, cold-pressed coconut oil can usually be found in the dietary supplements section of any large grocery store. It's usually not very expensive, and since it is meant to be eaten, you can be fairly sure that no other ingredients have been added to it.

we use our spit sometimes... but usually that's just to reactivate the actual waterbased lube we're using. usually all natural, on occasion organic.
