Where do you put the lube?

Contributor: Kernizan Kernizan
Hi! Here's a stupid question. Where do you put the lube? on yourself or on the toy?

I'd say it's totally up to you! I'd probably put it on myself rather than on the toy.
Other than an anal toy...I'd put the lube on the toy

It's not stupid These things don't exactly come with directions, right?

I would say a little of both. If you think about it, if you push a lubed-up toy into a dry orfice or vice-versa, one is probably going to take it away once you start any in-out action. With lube in both places to start with, you have a nice sensation in both areas with plenty of slippery stuff that won't cancel each other out.

Not a stupid question. I don't think there's a wrong way to using lube. I prefer my husband to actually apply the lube directly on my parts than his, it makes the experience more intimate. When I lube up toys, I rather apply the lube to the toy because I like the little "jerking" action I get to do, lol. It's always nice to apply it directly to where it's going though so that I'm able to massage the area (such as my bum) prior to insertion to help myself to better relax. It's all up to you!

Personally I do both most of the time, but it depends a lot on what I feel like at the moment. With anal sex I always lube both, but sometimes with toys I will only do one. Personal preferance really.

There are no stupid questions with sex as far as I'm concerned, and this is a pretty great community for new/curious people to ask questions.

I need some suggestions, I have a hard time arousing, I mean I just do not feel like doing it, I think that a lubricant woould be helpful but I just do not know what to use.

There are some decent arousal lubes. I like the link and the link. Granted they are lotions and not lubes. I use them by putting a pea sized amount on my finger and massaging it into the clit, then I use a separate lube to aid initial insertion of the penis (or dildo). Silicone lubes are a good option for intercourse if you still want some friction, and the good quality ones (I like link and link will not irritate your skin or cause UTI's or Yeast Infections. If you want a slicker feeling with less friction (my personal preference) I would suggest a good water based lube. I have experience with link and I really love it. It is a thicker and works great for everything besides oral.

I am usually very horny, but as my cycle changes there are instances where I have a really difficult time becoming aroused. What I do is make it a point to have enough time to get myself warmed up before sex is expected. I use a little bit of the Pure Passion or the Tasty Twist then just play with a vibrating bullet for awhile. With some nice music on and the vibrations, it usually only takes me a couple minutes to get good and ready. If a low libido is really persistent though, I would suggest talking to your doctor as it could be a hormone imbalance. There are libido pills available for women (not just for men anymore!). Your doctor might also be able to give you some more tips as well. I have found that just wearing something sexy helps. Nothing increases my sex drive like a sexy new bra!

Hope that was some help

Hey, thanks a lot! this was pretty good information I will try these tips. I just hope to have some sex life. I am just not horny at all, that just sucks. I am just tired anymore because I really feel the need to enjoy sex and just feel obligated to do it. Thanks again!
